Colorful Southwest Art for Sale in Arizona American Indian TeePee by Theresa Paden

Contemporary Southwest Art for Sale in Arizona
American Indian TeePee
By Theresa Paden

"Autumn Day"

40 x 40"
This tee pee was painted on a gallery-wrapped canvas with 1.5" deep edges.
I used a palette knife and brushes to apply thick oil paint, creating lots of texture on this one.
The edges are painted so framing is optional.
Wired on the back and ready to hang!

Available through Wilde Meyer Gallery in Scottsdale
Shipping is available from the gallery.

This 8x8 portrait was done “after” the style of David Miller by Texas Portrait artist Juli Koroly.

"Confused"
acrylic 8x8

This portrait is the second in my "after" David Miller series. This woman's expression shows her confusion and curiosity. She would not have been use to the attention of a photographer.

I have been reading "Empire of the Summer Moon and this face came to me as I read of the devastation of the individual Native American. There was a time when there were eleven million  of these men women and children living on this continent. Their individulal lose and our collective lose saddens me. The lose or change of any culture marks us all.
