I love the contrasts, textures, and colors of this contemporary Mountain. It also looks great horizontally, and I have gently signed it both ways. The painting is done over texture with an acrylic paint that has a great deal of metal in it. It is then treated with patina to change the metal color, and enhanced with pastels. Framed in a gold and black float frame.

Light flows through and around the tree as the sun rises. Descending squares of foil also bring light into the painting. Done in warm yellows, gold, and burnt orange, it is a painting to lift spirits.

Original Contemporary Abstract Expressionism Painting "Magic Mystique" by Contemporary Arizona Artist Pat Stacy

Magic Mystique is the the 3rd Mystique painting I have done. All have texture underneath, and texture on top of the painting. They all have hearts, and the light of the Creator descending as shown in the descending squares. They also have Entities that have the light of the Creator descending to their shoulder. This Mystique has three hidden hearts that are very hard to find--they do not show up in the picture at all. Magic!! The colors are strong, vibrant, and very livable. Gallery wrapped, no need to frame.

This smaller Quadruvium has the most beautiful green coloring. I just love it. It is one of the few Quadruvium that can be used both horizontal and vertical, and is so flexible in its use. Coppers make up the fine line work on the sides.

One of the Mystique series, this painting has the hearts, descending foiled squares, deep burnt orange, and golds. The hearts float lazily in the ethers, keeping company with hazy planets as the Entity looks on. There are 2 dragonflies, a butterfly, and several hearts that are hidden in the painting to add to the fun. It is a happy, fun painting suitable for a large space in today's homes or offices. The painting is well finished with 2.5 " sides, no need to frame.
